CM Punk’s Response To Wrestling Return Question Proves He Won’t Come Back

CM Punk has reiterated that he has no intention of ever returning to professional wrestling, citing that he would need a time machine to ever bring him back.

No matter how long it has been or what he says, there will always be some fans that believe CM Punk will one day wrestle again. Whether it be for WWE, Ring Of Honor, or elsewhere, die-hard Punk fans will never give up hope. Those of us who still hold a torch for him would really take anything at this point.

Punk remains adamant that he will never wrestle again, however. It's not as if he hasn't had the opportunity to come back either. Many fans thought it was a given that he would be at All In earlier this year, and he was reportedly offered $1 million to compete in the UK. ROH has also said that its door is always open if he ever wants to come back, and as unbelievable as it might sound, Vince McMahon's probably is too.

If you are one of those fans who still has a glimmer of hope that Punk will one day walk back through WWE's doors, we'd recommend you look away now. The former WWE Champion was a guest on WGN Morning News’ Primetime special this week and was asked what it would take to get him back in a wrestling ring. Punk's witty response? A time machine.

Despite many fans still hoping Punk does return one day, love for him in the wrestling world is probably at an all-time low right now. Along with the fact he has been gone for almost five years, he is also going through a court case opposite his former best friend, Colt Cabana. Wrestling fans have been siding with the man still in the business when it comes to that one.

January 2019 will mark the fifth anniversary of Punk walking out of WWE. So much has happened and change in that time, both in wrestling and in his own life. You would think that he'd at least talk to someone in the business and let them try and convince him another run in the ring would be worth his while. Sadly, he doesn't even seem open to that, and it gets less likely that he will ever wrestle again with every passing day.
