We see it so often these days, but Twitter is used as a tool in wrestling, whether in WWE or the independents to set up or further feuds. But sometimes the lines between fact/fiction and what is character and what is real are so often blurred, but in Cody Rhodes’ latest Twitter outbreak, he voices real frustration and there was only one target: Disco Inferno.

Following their fantastic match at Sakura Genesis that saw Hangman/Cody take on the Golden Lovers, a photo was posted of Cody’s eye after he took an accidental knee/kick from Kenny Omega. For most fans, it just shows that accidents can happen, and further reiterates the danger that these men put themselves in, especially in Japan. One person who didn’t share that opinion however was former WCW competitor Disco Inferno. He claimed that no one knew how to ‘work’ these days, and that the stars were too focused on match ratings, and unexpectedly, he got hit with one of the best tweets we’ve ever seen.

Although I’m 100 percent Team Kenny, this is absolutely brilliant from Cody, as he is one of the safest and hardest workers in the business. He is sticking up for his fellow workers these days who are constantly facing ridiculous criticism from past generations. He would follow up with this tweet a while later, and in two tweets, the conversation is completely done.

Other wrestlers from Will Ospreay to Cody’s SuperCard of Honor opponent Kenny Omega chimed in, and you can find those through the original tweet’s thread. Even one of Disco's contemporaries, Konnan, got into the act as seen below. But we have to say, Disco Inferno has been thoroughly shut down here.

So what do you guys think? Do you agree with Cody or Disco? Are you hyped for ROH Supercard of Honor where we finally see Kenny and Cody clash? Let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
