In case you were worried about having to spend your hard-earned cash on PPVs from AEW every month, Cody Rhodes has assured us that the new promotion won't be hosting them that often.

And if you didn't get to watch Double or Nothing on Saturday night, you're probably regretting. It was that good - which is why people are likely to keep shelling out their coin whenever a PPV comes their way.

However, Cody et al have considered the pocket hit and aren't planning to keep your hands going in there at the rate WWE does.

"So, I think you probably look at Double or Nothing and All Out as tentpole events, and there may be another one," Rhodes said in an interview following his impressive victory against his brother Dustin on Saturday night. "We're not going to do a pay-per-view every month, and I realize that it was $50, and if you ask people to part with their money, you got to make sure that it's worth it."

He promises that not every show is going to be four or five hours long, with DoN having lasted just under five.

"Not every show is going to be four, five hours, either," he continued. "TV has kind of indicated that it's a two-hour TV broadcast."

Despite the event's remarkable success and the impression it left, Cody says AEW isn't about to get complacent.

"We've got to keep going, we've got to keep stepping up and I want people to hold us accountable," he added. "I wanted to say that in the promo, but that's not the most exciting promo item. I want fans to keep us accountable. The moment something slips or the moment something misses, let us know because that's something that's missing.

"When you're the only game in town, you don't care. We care."

Fyter Fest on June 29 and Fight for the Fallen on July 13 are what's up next for AEW, with All Out set for August 31 as well.

What This Means

That last bit from Cody was an obvious jab at WWE, and Vince McMahon should be feeling the heat now.

The WWE chairman has been warned to "watch his a**" by Dustin Rhodes, and he would do well to take heed.
