Colt Cabana has briefly addressed the news that he is once again in court, this time going up against his former best friend, CM Punk.

While there have been a lot of big stories so far in 2018 in professional wrestling, perhaps the biggest of all happened in the courtroom as opposed to the wrestling ring. WWE doctor, Chris Amann took CM Punk and Colt Cabana to court for comments they made on the latter's Art Of Wrestling podcast detailing Punk's dealings and interactions with Dr. Amann when he was a WWE Superstar.

Punk and Cabana won the case which meant they didn't have to pay the damages and expenses that Amann was seeking. However, the two wrestlers are now once again engaged in a legal battle. Cabana claims that Punk promised to pay his legal fees for him, however, that hasn't happened and now the two of them are battling each other in court.

Cabana and Punk were once best friends and for that reason, as well as a host of others, the AOW host obviously didn't want the news of this latest court case getting out. Unfortunately it has, and Cabana briefly addressed the situation on the latest episode of his podcast. "All I want is for this thing to be settled, to be done with and to move on with my life," Cabana explained.

As well as the news of his and Punk's fresh court battle getting out, there has also been a rumor that Cabana was recently seen backstage at a WWE show. The independent wrestler also addressed that, revealing it not to be true and that the last time he was backstage at WWE was around four years ago so that he could interview Hornswoggle.

Those of you who listen to Cabana's AOW on a regular basis will know how much of an emotional toll the last court case took on the wrestler. It really does sound as if he wouldn't be doing what he's doing with Punk if it wasn't absolutely necessary. When it comes to matters like these, however, no matter how much Cabana and Punk want to keep things between themselves and out of the spotlight, that simply isn't going to happen.
