Conor McGregor heaps praise on the Superstars who competed in WrestleMania's main event and then proceeds to tease signing with WWE.

WrestleMania 35 has now been and gone and no matter what you thought of the show, history was made. For the first time in the event's history, a women's match closed the show. Becky Lynch became WWE's Undisputed Women's Champion by defeating both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

There was really only one downside to the match, the way it ended. The Man pinned Rousey's shoulders to the mat, except it wasn't really for a three count. Despite The Rowdy One getting her shoulders up after one, the referee continued to count. We're not sure if that's how it was supposed to go down, but it was a shame such a historic match had to end that way.

No matter the ending, the world was watching, and that world apparently included Conor McGregor. The Irishman doesn't tend to throw out praise willy nilly, so the tweet he sent after WrestleMania came as quite a surprise. Not only did he congratulate Lynch on her win, but he showered praise on all three women in the match. "Ronda Rousey is something special in that ring, as is Charlotte Flair of the Flair dynasty!" he wrote.

While that was all well and good and very nice of The Notorious One, it's how he signed off that really caught our attention. "Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do. Or could I...," he went on to write. Yet another hint from the supposedly retired MMA fighter that he wouldn't mind the chance to have a go at competing in WWE for a match or two.

At the moment, it's still hard to tell whether McGregor is being serious or not. It's entirely possible he could be doing exactly what Brock Lesnar does but from the opposite position. If he can make Dana White believe that he has been talking with WWE, chances are the UFC promoter would offer him more money to return to the octagon. Then again, it is the Raw after WrestleMania tonight, a show during which almost anything can happen.
