Los Angeles Rams' receiver, Cooper Kupp, injured his knee this past Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks and now it has been revealed that he tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Kupp was injured on a play in the fourth quarter that appeared to not involve any contact with the Seahawks' defender. He left the game and didn't return. Head coach, Sean McVay, spoke to reporters after the game and stated that Kupp's injury didn't look good and that he would receive an MRI to reveal the full injury.

That MRI Kupp received Monday, showed that he sustained a tear in his ACL. The typical recovery time for an ACL tear is usually six to nine months. Which means Kupp should be back to full health by training camp next year.

Kupp had already missed two games earlier this season with an injury to the same knee he just tore his ACL on. Kupp has been Jarred Goff's favorite target on the field. He has recorded 40 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns this season before he was injured.

This is also just Kupp's second season in the league, and he was already starting to become a household name around the league. In his first two seasons, Kupp has recorded 1435 receiving yards to go along with eleven touchdowns.

He is also averaging 14 yards per catch and 62.4 yards per game in his first two seasons. The Rams will have to further rely on receivers, Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods for the rest of the season.

Josh Reynolds is expected to step into a bigger role with Kupp out the rest of the season. He has produced 98 receiving yards with two touchdowns while appearing in ten games this season.

The Rams will surely miss Kupp for the remainder of this season, but because they have a surplus amount of depth at the wide receiver position, they shouldn't have any issues finding production at the receiver spot.
