Terrence and Terell Hughes, the twin sons of D-Von Dudley, will be making their AEW debuts on Dark this week.

There are a number of examples you can use to prove that wrestling is a family business. The Guerreros, the Harts, even the McMahons. However, there is no wrestling family more unique than the Dudleys. That's because it is entirely fictional. We hate to break it to you, but Bubba Ray and D-Von aren't really related.

For anyone who isn't aware of the Dudleys' extended family tree, it was made up of more than just Bubba, D-Von, and Spike. Those were the only three to make it to WWE. There were other Dudleys in ECW. The backstory was supposed to be that all of the siblings had the same father. He was a wrestler too and traveled the country sleeping with different women. All of those siblings became wrestlers too and joined forces in ECW. It also explains why they all looked so different.

Even though the Dudley Boyz were fictional brothers, two wrestlers who can claim to be third-generation Dudleys will make their AEW debut tonight. Terrence and Terell Hughes, otherwise known as TNT, are D-Von's twin sons. This isn't an extension of the long-running Dudley family tree story, Terrence and Terell are really D-Von's sons.

Some fans may have seen TNT perform in the past as the team has competed in Impact Wrestling. As for tonight's match, the pair will compete on Dark against the team of Luther and Serpentico. They will join another loaded card that will include nine matches. Lucha Bros and Jurassic Express will also be competing on the show in respective matches, not against one another.

It's interesting that TNT have opted to try their luck at AEW rather than WWE. D-Von is a WWE Hall of Famer and still works with the company as a producer. Perhaps they are trying to make it in the business without flaunting their dad's name. That would also explain why they haven't adopted the Dudley name and tried to ride on the coattails of the most decorated tag team in wrestling history.
