The Miz is arguably the greatest heel in all of WWE today, thanks to his superb microphone skills that make the eight-time Intercontinental Champion one giant trashtalker.

Though virtually all WWE superstars have been on the end of personal attacks or insults by The Miz (in storyline), perhaps no wrestler has taken as many verbal jabs from him as Daniel Bryan.

Nobody can forget their epic 2016 segment on Talking Smack, when The Miz attacked Bryan for being a "coward," and lying to his fans about coming back to the ring to win a championship. Miz also told Bryan to "quit and go to the bingo halls with his Indie friends."

The Miz also recently did an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, and said that Bryan "doesn't deserve to be in the ring with him," and that Bryan wasn't on the same level as he is.

Bryan talked to SPORTbible and responded to The Miz's comments, and they were surprisingly positive - and he didn't send any verbal jabs back at the former Intercontinental Champion.

"If you were to look at Miz's matches since I've come back, he's got a point. His match with [Seth] Rollins at Backlash, that was by far the best match on the pay-per-view. When I lost to Rusev, he wrestled Jeff Hardy - which was a fantastic match.

The knock on Miz for years was that he was a great talker but so-so in the ring. This happened with [John] Cena too where people were like, 'This guy can't wrestle' and while they are saying they can't wrestle, they learn to wrestle and learn to be the best as far as in-ring stuff...

So if Miz says I'm not on his level, I look at it like, 'Maybe I'm not' and that motivates me - how do I get on his level?"

It's a classy response from Bryan, who has only been competing in the ring again for a few weeks. His return at WrestleMania 34 will go down as one of the finest moments in recent memory, and he looks poised to soon start an on-screen rivalry with the man who's talked a ton of trash about him.

Of course, many will strongly agree with The Miz and take his comments as just another way of him stirring the pot. Bryan is one of the more decorated WWE superstars of this era, while The Miz has been widely criticized for having in-ring skills that don't match his talents on the microphone.

With The Miz taking some verbal jabs at Bryan, one has to think their on-screen rivalry will begin soon, and WWE fans can't wait enough.
