WWE and its fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as Daniel Bryan has signed a new contract with the company.
Daniel Bryan has had an incredibly turbulent 2018. When the year began, the former World Champion was still on the sidelines, nothing more than SmackDown Live's General Manager. Fast forward a few months and he finally got the news that he had been praying for. That WWE was finally willing to clear him to wrestle again so that he could come out of retirement.
It was the feel-good moment of the year and since then we have seen him take on the likes of AJ Styles, The Miz, and Andrade 'Cien' Almas. Some thought that his time with WWE was going to come to an end, though. Bryan's contract with the company ends this month, and he seemed undecided on whether he wanted to stick around or not.

Well, good news everybody, Bryan will remain a WWE Superstar. According to The Wrestling Observer, the SmackDown Live Superstar has signed a new contract with WWE. In fact, reports suggest that Bryan actually put pen to paper a few days ago, and it's just the formality of WWE signing it too before the news will be officially released by the company.
While at times it seemed as if Bryan might leave WWE, for the past few weeks it has felt as if it was a matter of when he re-signed rather than if. The future Hall Of Famer revealed last month that WWE actually had the option to keep him on for another year if they so wished, so in reality, Bryan probably wouldn't have been going anywhere no matter what happened with his contract saga.
As for Bryan's immediate future, well next on the agenda is a mixed tag match alongside his wife, Brie Bella. The two of them will take on The Miz and Maryse at Hell In A Cell. After that, Bryan and Miz will clash again at WWE Super Show-Down, however, this time a WWE Title shot will be up for grabs. Who knows, by the end of 2018 Daniel Bryan might be WWE Champion once again.
