Darby Allin is considered one of wrestling's most insane risk takers. Some might call him a bit off his rocker, considering how often he puts his body on the line during matches. Thanks to a video he posted on social media, it's not just in the ring where he seems to risk it all.

Allin isn't medically cleared to compete for AEW right now. That's what makes the video of him jumping from a third-floor balcony into a hotel swimming pool even more incredible. While it would be crazy to do this even if you were 100% healthy, he's not.

The video itself is only a couple of seconds long, but it's long enough to realize how dangerous the jump is. Had he slipped, fallen or missed his target, he could have done some serious damage to himself, possibly died from a fall that high.

And, if he's not medically cleared, it stands to reason that President of AEW Tony Khan is probably not too pleased that Allin is taking such crazy risks when he's supposed to be recuperating. Most athletes have in their contracts that playing other sports while under contract with a company is a no-go. In some cases, WWE hasn't wanted their stars to jump to UFC in the happenstance they get hurt. This is something different.

Allin's jump, while awesome, is also completely unnecessary.

This Is What Makes Allin Who He Is

It's risky, crazy and, perhaps, incredibly stupid. But, this is the kind of thing that fans love about Darby Allin. He's a daredevil and fans can't seem to get enough of it.

From his coffin drop on the apron to nasty bumps off a ladder riding a skateboard, if you take this sort of thing out of Allin's repertoire, perhaps he's not the same star AEW fans are falling in love with.
