Once Dean Ambrose is done with his current WWE contract he will reportedly leave WWE. His contract expires shortly after WrestleMania 35.

The last two weeks, some of the biggest rumors in wrestling have revolved around Superstars reportedly asking to leave WWE. The Revival, Sasha Banks, Andrade, and more have apparently not been entirely happy with their current lots in the company. Nevertheless, all of them remain under contract with the promotion.

However, as All Elite Wrestling continues to establish itself in the wrestling sphere, you have to imagine that sooner or later some names will start to shift. Wrestling's newest promotion may not have established itself as a major player quite yet, but it definitely has the money to do so. Plus, a huge statement has been sent via the signing of Chris Jericho.

The latest WWE Superstar to possibly be on AEW's radar is Dean Ambrose. According to PWTorch, WWE's resident Lunatic has told WWE that once his current contract ends, he will be leaving the company. That doesn't leave long for WWE to persuade him to stay. The former WWE Champion's current deal comes to an end shortly after WrestleMania 35, possibly running until the end of April. So what could have prompted Ambrose to make such a decision?

Apparently, it is not necessarily money that has prompted the decision. One of the sources who confirmed the news said that The Lunatic "hates hokey s**t." There's no doubting that Ambrose has been part of a lot more of that than he is likely comfortable with. He did make a name for himself in Combat Zone Wrestling after all which is a much more violent promotion than WWE.

If all the of the above does turn out to be true, it makes the opening segment on this week's Raw even more telling. Ambrose's comments to Triple H were intense enough, but now they have a whole new meaning. WWE now has three months to convince Ambrose to change his mind. If he doesn't, perhaps we could see him show up in AEW. There's also the question of what his wife Renee Young will decide to do.
