Body cam footage of WWE star Jimmy Uso's arrest has been released by Detroit police.

Uso, whose real name is  Jonathan Solofa Fatu, was apprehended by law enforcement officers after his wife, Naomi, drove the wrong way down a one-way street and got pulled over on February 13. He was later charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction as he is said to have taken off his shirt and "squared up" with the policemen.

The story was broken by TMZ last month and was confirmed by Detroit police. Asked how much Uso, who was a passenger in the vehicle, had to drink, Naomi told the officers, "He's had a lot to drink. He's intoxicated."

The police claimed that Uso took off his shirt and got into a fighting stance, apparently wanting a fight prior to his arrest. None of that is shown in the video, which was recently released and reported on by WDIV Local News. But a shirtless, handcuffed Uso is shown getting into the back of a cop car rather quietly after speaking to the officers.

Jimmy could be heard telling police, "Man, you don't understand. I'm just here in and out. I'm in and out, man."

He was later released on bond.

The WWE have declined media requests for comment on the matter but released a succinct take shortly after Uso's arrest. " Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions," was the remark.

What This Means

The brush with the law did little to affect Jimmy's status within the WWE as he went on to defeat Shane McMahon and The Miz alongside his twin brother Jey Uso at Elimination Chamber days after the arrest. The victory saw the brothers become four-time SmackDown tag team champions and six-time WWE tag team champions overall.

They managed to retain their titles against Shane and Mix at the recent Fastlane PPV and will be heading into WrestleMania 35 next month as the SmackDown tag champs.
