Kawhi Leonard is one of the best players you could have in your fantasy team. However, it could be quite frustrating as the Toronto Raptors star has been sitting out games since coming back from his injury.

The former San Antonio Spurs man hasn't been playing in back-to-back games this season, with the team erring on the side of caution. And it's really the same over in Boston, with Gordon Hayward restricted minutes and being pulled out of the rotation so his re-integration does not cause him further harm.

So, which approach does a fantasy enthusiast employ when considering one of these players, or anyone else going through a similar situation?

DraftKings fantasy expert Julian Edlow has the answer. DK is unlike many other avenues as one would have the option to play daily games as opposed to a season-long grind. And, in an exclusive interview with TheSportster, the analyst discussed the pros an cons of drafting someone in Leonard or Hayward's current mold.

"That’s kinda the upside of playing on Draftkings," Edlow explained. "If you have Kawhi Leonard or Gordon Hayward on your season-long team, you might get a little bit frustrated with them when they start sitting out back-to-backs or sitting out nights to rest because of serious injuries that they’re recovering from.

"But on DraftKings you get to choose do you think this is a good spot for those players and do they even get to play.

Hayward started the season a little bit pricey because he’s an All-Star name and he’s gonna be on that 25-minute restriction for the Celtics so he wasn’t a very attractive play, but then he found his way under $5,000 in salary and all of a sudden Jaylen Brown missed a game and he was an elite value play for that type of money. So it really just depends on the slate.

"And Kawhi Leonard, when he’s out, there are so many guys for the Raptors like Danny Green and Norman Powell as well as Kyle Lowry, who’s leading the troops without Leonard on the floor.

"You just kinda have to play it by slate and see what is that star’s price tonight on this slate and, if he’s playing, is he in a good spot to reach value. If he’s not playing, then you kinda need to step back and see who the value guys might be there."

What This Means

If you're playing NBA fantasy games on Yahoo Sports or ESPN, then it can be a bit of a headache picking Leonard or Hayward.

But DraftKings makes it much easier to decide as you're very likely to know when they'll be out. As Edlow explained, pricing should be a bit of a factor, but nearing playoffs time, the pair - especially Leonard - should be kept in mind.
