Drinkers will tell you there isn't a problem on this earth a few shots won't solve. And although that has proven to be quite far from the truth, a basketball slump apparently remains one of the few issues a night on the town can help solve.

At least that's how Draymond Green tells it.

The Golden State Warriors outspoken big man recently revealed that his teammate Steph Curry benefited from some booze-filled nights during the 2015 NBA Playoffs/Finals.

Steph wasn't playing particularly well at the time and was feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders as he struggled through the first three games of a Conference series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

"We were in Memphis, down 2-1. Steph wasn't playing well, and it felt like the world was collapsing on us," Green said to ESPN The Magazine's Sam Alipour

"So he was in his room, doing nothing, and I called him: "Hey, let's go get a drink." "All right, cool." So we go to Blues City Cafe, drink a bunch of drinks, eat a bunch of garbage and have a bunch of fun. And we won the next three. That moment was the beginning of our run, where it could have gone all the way left. We just needed to just get away from the game."

A bottle of wine came to the rescue during the finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers as well.

"Then we're in Cleveland, down 2-1 in the first Finals. Steph was struggling, so I took a bottle of wine to his room," Green continued.

"So it's just me and Steph, in his room, crushing a whole bottle of wine - and we won the next three. Those are the moments I'll never forget. That's my guy, man."

So, there you have it. Whenever Curry's down in the dumps, a few drinks with his buddy Draymond is all he needs to set him right again.

Yet that does leave one to wonder if the insane competition in the Western Conference will turn the league's most accurate sharpshooter into an alcoholic next season.
