The beef between Tristan Thompson and Draymond Green turned into a gossip drama after allegedly the Cavs player punched Green at an after party— and Green is being a little salty about it.

These two guys have a reputation of quick-tempered players when they were inside the court and facing each other for four straight NBA finals, and that helped to shape a rivalry. Yet, this clash found its peak in the first game of the last NBA finals. With only 2.6 seconds left in the clock, Thompson got a flagrant two foul for elbowing Shaun Livingston, and Green couldn’t miss this opportunity, making fun of it clapping in front of him. The Cavs center responded by shoving the basketball in the Warriors player’s face.

Afterward, Thompson walked away after getting ejected while pointing towards the tunnel. When Green was asked for his reaction to Draymond Green Insults Cavaliers After Denying Tristan Thompson Fight that, he responded that he didn’t have a problem meeting him outside, but he didn’t want to waste his money getting fined. “I’m going to keep taking care of my family.” Draymond said, “I’m not going to meet you at the bus.”

Weeks later, after Golden State swept Cleveland, and during the championship parade the Warriors power forward said that Thompson tried to shake his hands after game four, to which he refused, telling him that they “ain't cut from the same cloth.”

Weeks later, after the 2018 ESPY Awards, Lebron threw a party, where — according to the gossips site Bossip — Thompson punched Green, and Lebron James and Kevin Durant had to step in to break up the altercation. However, it’s hard to know if this is what actually happened, or this is just buzz. Marcus Thompson II, from The Athletic, tried to clear the situation, but he got all different types of comments from the people who attended the party, which only makes more difficult to know what really happened. Comments such as: “It was a sucker punch” “It wasn’t really a punch. It was more like a shove.” or “It was a face mush.”

Regardless if the punch was real or not, Cleveland fans decided to show their appreciation to what Thompson did. So, they decided to organize a parade outside Quicken Loans Arena on Oct. 13, 2018, to celebrate the presumed “TT” punch to Green. To which the Warriors player couldn't hold off himself, saying that all these stories about their fight were inaccurate, but that Cleveland fans should throw the parade because they won't have any for a while.

Whether or not this fight was real, let’s hope to see some good confrontations between these two impulsive players next season, although it will be highly unlikely for them to face each other in the finals again.
