Dwayne Wade's uncertain future may have gotten a little clearer. With rumors that there may not be an offer coming from an NBA franchise this season, Wade may be getting a "monster" offer from a professional basketball team in China.

Per basketball reporter Zhang Duo (via Sportando), the Xinjiang Flying Tigers are prepared to make Wade a lucrative contract proposal. Financial terms have not been disclosed but international options for players with an NBA background have gone up in recent years and Wade offers one of the more illustrious backgrounds in NBA history. A 12-time All-Star and NBA championship winner three times, the former NBA Finals MVP would likely become the highest-paid overseas basketball player in history.

Wade was recently in China promoting the release of his "Way of Wade 7" shoe. Working alongside apparel company Li-Ninghe he told the Associated Press, while his focus wasn't there yet, he'd soon switch gears and start looking at his future on the court. Wade explained:

"When I get back from China, I'll focus on that. Right now, I'm focused on the game after basketball. Whatever happens in basketball, it happens. I've done everything that I can to this point to put myself that I'm in this position I am today, where I can do something that hasn't been done globally yet."

Wade is coming off a decent season with the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a bench player averaging 11.4 points and 3.4 assists in 67 games. Those numbers, however, haven't been enough to guarantee future employment.

An overseas deal may be a strong option for Wade. Former NBA pros, Alexey Shved and Jimmer Fredette signed $10.2 million and $1.8 million deals respectively.  Could Wade follow suit and head to China where he's already doing business? It's simply a matter of whether or not he's done with his career in the NBA.
