The first inductee into WWE's 2019 Hall Of Fame class has been announced and the rumors as to who will join them have begun to circulate.

WWE has started pretty late this year when it comes to officially announce its Hall Of Fame inductees. We normally know two or three of them by now, however, the first wasn't announced this time around until this past Monday. D-Generation X will be enshrined on April 6, 2019, and that includes all of its main members. So Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, and Road Dogg.

With the Hall Of Fame ceremony now only six weeks away, we are fully expecting WWE's announcements to start coming thick and fast. While no one else has been confirmed, there has been speculation that the original Hart Foundation will be inducted this year as well as former ECW Champion Bam Bam Bigelow.

Twitter account WrestleVotes has now thrown a couple of other names into the mix. According to the account, sources have said that Taz and Honky Tonk Man may also become WWE Hall Of Famers on April 6. The account has gone on to say that Taz's induction has not been confirmed, but Honky Tonk Man's place in the 2019 HOF class is all but guaranteed.

Honestly, when it comes to Honky Tonk, we thought he was a Hall Of Famer already. The veteran is one of the most famous Intercontinental Champions of all time due to his only reign with the title being the longest of all time. Honky Tonk was Intercontinental Champion for a whopping 454 days in 1987/88, a record that still stands to this day. While Taz was never Intercontinental Champion, his body of work also warrants a spot in the Hall Of Fame.

The Human Suplex Machine truly made a name for himself in ECW, winning the brand's World Title three times. While his wrestling career in WWE wasn't quite as successful, when it ended, he became an integral part of the SmackDown announce team for more than eight years. Taz often jokes on his podcast that he will never get the HOF call, however, it might well be time for Mrs. Taz to dust off that wedding dress and dye it orange.
