Despite the many hardships and obstacles faced in 2020, WWE managed to deliver countless entertaining matches and moments throughout the year.

From mid-March onward, WWE had to run its live events without any fans in attendance due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In August, they introduced the "ThunderDome" concept in order to bring a strong fan-like atmosphere.

It's unclear when fans will be back at WWE events. There was hope that spectators would be back for the Royal Rumble, but that reportedly won't be the case.

As WWE prepares for what will hopefully be a better year in 2021, it's a good time to look back on some of the top moments from last year.

Alfred Konuwa of Forbes shared the list of the Top 10 "Most Liked WWE YouTube Videos of 2020." And No. 1 won't surprise you in the slightest.

That would be Edge's unforgettable return at the Royal Rumble, which has garnered 434,00 likes as of this writing. Following a nine-year retirement, the Rated-R Superstar made a thrilling appearance in the No. 21 spot. He went all the way to the final three before getting eliminated by Roman Reigns.

The rest of the top five consisted of Retribution's attack on Braun Strowman during the Aug. 21 episode of SmackDown (265,ooo), Strowman flipping over a van carrying The Miz and John Morrison on the June 5 episode of SmackDown (179,000 likes), Becky Lynch announcing her pregnancy on the May 11 episode of Raw (178,000 likes) and Roman Reigns feeding Baron Corbin dog food on the Jan. 31 episode of SmackDown (154,000).

Edge's Royal Rumble return was the WWE's most-watched YouTube video for 2020 with over 22 million views (currently over 23.423 million views.)

WWE Made The Most Of 2020

Vince McMahon, WWE officials and superstars deserve plenty of credit for finding a way to safely manage the company and all of its shows in 2020. It obviously wasn't the same without full crowds, but they still found creative ways to keep the fans interested and entertained. We have good reason to believe that the product will be even better in 2021.
