Enes Kanter was not very happy with Giannis Antetokounmpo after the New York Knicks' loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

The Turkish center, apparently still seething on Friday, ripped the Greek Freak, mockingly referring to him as the NBA's "golden child" and branding him "childish."

The two players were involved in a minor skirmish - which you could see below - during the game, something which resulted in Kanter getting ejected as he had picked up an earlier technical.

The last time these two teams met, Antetokounpo told reporters he would punch New York's Mario Hezonja in the testicles if the player ever stepped over him again - he really walked over Giannis after dunking on him- and Kanter was not pleased about that either.

“I was very pissed because what kind of player are you?" the center told the New York Post on Friday. "Did he not get any PR lesson?’

“You cannot say to the media, ‘I’m going to punch somebody in the whatever.’ If you’re the best player in the world or the worst player in the world, you cannot be talking about my teammate like that. It’s very childish of him. He’s an MVP candidate. He’s a cool dude and carrying that franchise, but you can’t be talking about my teammates like that.

“He’s the golden boy. He’s the golden child. I’m not trying to fight against superstars and All-Stars. It just happens. If it was something else, I would’ve gone after somebody else. Obviously he’s the golden child and they gave me two technicals. OK. Whatever? I’m going to leave the management to take care of all that stuff.”

Kanter also called for Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham to get fined. Ham knocked into the Knicks star from behind before pushing the two players apart. And Kanter was not at all appreciative after getting handled by an opposing member of staff.

“[Ham] should get fined,’’ he declared. “The NBA should fine him. He’s not my assistant coach, so he’s not allowed to touch me. You’re a Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach, so you’re allowed to touch the Bucks players. Not me. He cannot be touching me. I could’ve just pushed him back and started another fight. But I don’t think the NBA wants that. He’s not my assistant coach. He’s not my friend. He’s not nobody.”

What This Means

Joel Embiid is probably right; there's no rivalry between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics, but there could be one between the Knicks and Bucks soon.

Unfortunately for Giannis, Kanter is an aspiring wrestler who would not let him get away with punching a teammate in the groin.
