The Houston Rockets' early season struggles continued on Thursday night, as they were blown out on the road by the Utah Jazz, 118-91.

With the loss, Houston now sits at 11-13 on the season. One doesn't need a reminder that they led the NBA with 65 wins last season. Now, the Rockets are just four losses away from tying the 17 defeats they had last season.

After the game, veteran guard Eric Gordon wasn't shy in voicing his inner feelings after yet another gut-wrenching loss. Gordon went as far as to saying that he simply isn't enjoying the game right now.

"I'm just not having fun man," Gordon said to Kelly Iko of The Athletic. "I'm just not. This sucks. Even the times where I have good games. We're just not using some guys the right way. Are we gonna make the right sacrifices? Do we have the right attitude?"

Houston sits only ahead of the Phoenix Suns and equally struggling San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference. They snapped a four-game losing streak in San Antonio last Friday and blew out the Chicago Bulls a day later, only to lose their next two games.

There is plenty of blame to go around in Houston's struggles. The bench's lack of production, the loss of Trevor Ariza (he signed with the Suns), and injuries to All-Stars James Harden and Chris Paul.

But at the end of the day, excuses aren't going to help the Rockets get out of this early season slump. Gordon is simply tired of losing, which is understandable given that this team was one win away from reaching the NBA Finals last season.

What This Means

The Rockets still have over two-thirds of a season to go, and there's plenty of time to fix things. But if they continue to struggle this badly over the next month, you can't help but wonder if GM Daryl Morey will start making changes.
