Prop designer Jason Baker helped Bray Wyatt create The Fiend, and claims that the best of the gimmick is yet to come.

For a long time, it felt as if Bray Wyatt was treading water in WWE. Even when The Eater of Worlds managed to capture the WWE Title, fan excitement was short-lived. It felt as if WWE had something big, but they couldn't figure out what to do with it. Honestly, although they might not want to admit it, that's probably how fans felt too, and maybe even Wyatt himself.

Turns out what Wyatt needed was some time off. Time he clearly spent masterminding the gimmick which would finally make him untouchable in WWE. That is currently unfolding in front of our very eyes in the form of The Fiend. It began with the Firefly Funhouse segments and has evolved into something we simply can't get enough of.

Tom Savini Studios helped bring Wyatt's idea to life, and Jason Baker was one of the lead designers behind everything we have seen so far. Baker elaborated on some of what we have seen so far during an interview with Gamespot. He admitted that the work required for the project has basically consumed his life, but he has enjoyed every minute of it.

Baker also said something fans have been told along the entirety of the Firefly Funhouse timeline. That we have only seen a fraction of what's coming. "If they think this is the greatest thing to ever happen, they just need to keep watching. It's going to blow them away," Baker said of The Fiend's fans. That quote alone literally has us on the edge of our seats, eagerly anticipating what's next.

Pessimists are commonplace in WWE's fanbase. Many have been awaiting the downfall of The Fiend concept but are being foiled at every turn. Some said the gimmick couldn't transition to live TV, then it did. Then they said it wouldn't work in a match, but it has. Now no one knows where the idea is going next, and we think that's a good thing. It's our favorite thing about WWE right now, and apparently, it's only going to get better.
