Brock Lesnar doesn't appear at many house shows these days, but when he does appear he does work in short order. After no-showing Monday Night Raw earlier this week, Lesnar did decide to show up at a live event in Chicago, but most fans in attendance are likely questionining why he even showed up at all.

Lesnar was scheduled for a match with Kane at the United Center. It was just Kane's second appearance since the Raw after Royal Rumble as he's been busy with his mayoral campaign. Per a live report from the event, Lesnar was introduced by Paul Heyman as hailing from the "ultimate corner" which is a reference to his UFC days. That intro may have gotten the crowd riled up, but their energy quickly shifted from excitement to agitation after Lesnar quickly disposed of The Big Red Machine in about 30 seconds.

WrestleZone.com says that the crowd cheered during Lesnar's entrance, but then booed at the quick match.

Those in attendance may have been disappointed by the brief appearance by Lesnar and Kane, but at least Chicago fans were able to see some of their favorite Superstars. That wasn't the case the previous night with a live event in Kalamazoo, Michigan as Finn Balor was forced to miss the show due to cancelled flights.

Balor was able to make it to the United Center on Saturday and he teamed with Seth Rollins to defeat The Bar via DQ.

WWE's live event in Chicago was one of two events they held in Illinois on Saturday. There was also a show in Moline, Illinois that featured Randy Orton, AJ Styles and The New Day among others. Moline didn't get to see Lesnar in action, but when you think about it, Chicago really didn't either.
