Becky Lynch directed a few more verbal pops towards Ronda Rousey after re-booking her spot against her at WrestleMania.

If we were extremely optimistic people, we would tell ourselves that Vince McMahon planned out Becky Lynch's road to WrestleMania months ago. In reality, that seems highly unlikely considering the glaring plotholes. It feels more like an ill-thought-out way to shoehorn Charlotte Flair into the match without fans realizing they had their dream match taken away from them.

Well as of Sunday night's Fastlane, the shoehorning is officially complete. Lynch fought Flair for the chance to be added to a match she should never have been removed from in the first place. If all of this wasn't confusing enough already, WWE then added Ronda Rousey into the Fastlane mix. The champ punched Lynch in the face, thus getting Flair disqualified and helping The Man win the match.

Despite Lynch now being a part of WrestleMania again, she is still not entirely happy. "I have a title opportunity, but that should be a singles match, it should be a one-on-one at WrestleMania," Lynch rightly pointed out to interviewer Cathy Kelley. The McMahons probably don't want you reminding us of that, Becky. The interview was posted on WWE's YouTube channel though, so perhaps this was all part of the boss's grand plan.

The more telling comments from Lynch came in the form of her latest pops at Rousey. "One minute she doesn't want me in the match, the next thing she does, the next thing she's trying everything she can to get me out of the match." The Man then adds that Rousey has finally realized that without her, if it is just the former UFC Champion and Flair at WrestleMania, then there is no main event.

That's a really good point. Think of the WWE Title match at Fastlane. It didn't matter what happened in the ring, fans were focused on the severe lack of Kofi Kingston in the match. Imagine that at WrestleMania if WWE pushed forward with Rousey versus Flair, and magnify the size of the crowd by four or five times. If female Superstars are going to close the show for the first time ever, it would be a real shame if we remember the match for who wasn't in it rather than who was.
