In what might be one of the most intriguing endings to an episode of SmackDown in ages, The Fiend came to the ring and attacked Alexa Bliss. What is his plan?

Bliss was in the corner of Nikki Cross as Cross tried to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship from Bayley. A strong match left Cross just shy of a title win and left Bliss to help lift the spirits of her friend who couldn't get the victory. Cross wasn't in the mood to be consoled and pushed her friend away, leaving Bliss in the ring alone.

The lights then went out and the creepy Fiend sound effects blared through the arena. When the lights came back on, the venue was red and Bliss was frozen in fear as The Fiend was behind her in the middle of the ring.

Unsure of what he'd do, Bliss sat there helplessly waiting for her inevitable fate. The Fiend knelt down beside her, slowly lifted his arm, and applied the mandible claw leaving her defenseless. The show closed as The Fiend was punishing Bliss and the WWE Universe was left to wonder what was going on?

What's The Fiend's Plan Here?

There are a few ways this storyline could go. The most logical is that The Fiend has targeted Bliss as a way to get at Braun Strowman. Wyatt opened Friday's show saying he was looking for the WWE Universal Champion and hinted that everyone who was close to him might be in trouble. As most fans know. Strowman and Bliss have a very close bond.

There is also an outside chance here that The Fiend might be bringing Bliss into his family. The hints at Extreme Rules that Bliss and Sister Abigail are in some way connected means that The Fiend knows crossing Bliss over to the darker side would put Strowman on tilt. There's no telling how he'd react if he thought Bliss was in permanent danger, especially knowing how much being part of Wyatt's Family can destroy you.
