Finn Balor has been wrestling on the main roster since 2016, and barring the horrific injury that cost him 9 months of his career and a reign as the first ever WWE Universal Champion, he works all house shows too. But just this past week, he missed a WWE RAW live event in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Fans were understandably disappointed that The Demon missed the show, but he took to Twitter to give his explanation as to why he missed the show, something that he rarely does;

Unfortunately, the crazy weather going on isn’t just in the UK, where several shows have had to be cancelled because of weather, it’s also happening in the US. Finn had not one, not two, but three flight delays and he barely made it to the show the next night in Chicago. With winter weather wrapping up, it’s likely that these types of flight problems will dissipate, so the only time you’ll have to worry about someone missing a show they were meant to be on is when Brock Lesnar is next scheduled to appear on RAW.

Whether the WWE want you to accept it or not, Balor is one of the most over stars in the WWE today, and his presence on house shows is likely a huge reason why tickets are sold. So this kind of thing would have definitely annoyed the crowd there, but there are fewer limitations put on those shows, meaning that the majority of the WWE Universe reportedly have a lot of fun there regardless. Thankfully for this show, it didn’t feature Brock Lesnar’s 35 second squash of Kane, so while there was a major negative, not featuring that is definitely a positive.

So what do you guys think? Is Balor as over as we all believe? Is missing a show a big deal? Let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
