Finn Balor is arguably one of the best wrestlers in the world today, and through his career in Japan, Europe and the United States, he’s faced the best all over the globe. During an interview with WhatCulture.com during the WWE’s current UK tour, he spoke about the three toughest he’s faced in his lengthy career. During the interview, the former Prince Devitt named those three guys as Samoa Joe, New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Zack Sabre Jr. and Bray Wyatt, and since most of us have never wrestled, we aren’t really going to argue with Finn.

Balor described Joe as “a guy who moves like a cruiserweight and hits like a heavyweight”, and after their brutal rivalry in NXT that culminated inside a steel cage, it’s really easy to see why Joe was on this list. Next is Bray Wyatt, who Balor said is deceptively large, and his size doesn’t translate on TV, and although their rivalry was quite an odd one and didn’t culminate in a huge blow-off bout, it’s easy to see why Wyatt is on this list, as his offense is hard-hitting all the time.

For me, the third choice of Balor is the most surprising, as it’s Zack Sabre Jr., a man that’s competed with every top wrestling company in the world. But after seeing some of his recent matches in Progress and New Japan, he’s a perfect choice. Sabre may be slight in frame, but he is tough as nails, and his slaps and strikes are some of the most devastating in the world. Add that to his brutally quick submission game and you’ve got one of the best all around wrestlers in the world and easily the best technical wrestler in the world. The two had their biggest match in Progress at Chapter 13, and it’s well worth watching again, as it shows off everything that is great about professional wrestling.

So what do you guys think? Is there any big omission from this list that you would have expected to appear? Would you like to see Finn wrestle any of these three men again soon? As always, let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
