If The Undertaker is going to compete at WrestleMania 35, Finn Balor hopes that he's the one who gets to take him on.

It feels as if the WrestleMania card has started to take shape a little later than it normally does this year. Nevertheless, with less than three weeks to go many of the matches for the show have now been confirmed and a fair few others likely will be this week. However, we still don't know what The Undertaker's role is going to be, if he is going to be on the show at all.

If The Undertaker does not wrestle on the card, it'll be the first time he hasn't competed at WrestleMania for 19 years. That's a pretty incredible run that Vince McMahon won't want to come to an end. News of The Deadman taking appearance bookings away from WWE have also thrown up rumors that the relationship between The Phenom and Mr. McMahon isn't exactly great right now.

This obviously isn't the first time Taker has had us guessing about what his 'Mania plans might be. One man who remains hopeful that The Deadman will rise at WrestleMania one more time is Finn Balor. During a recent appearance on The Kris Fade Show, Balor admitted that if picking his 'Mania opponent were left up to him, he would want a match with The Undertaker.

"I would really love to fight Undertaker at WrestleMania," Balor revealed. Honestly, who wouldn't? In the same breath, the former NXT Champion also admitted that he wouldn't mind a rematch for the Intercontinental Title. However, we now live in a world where WWE doesn't hand out obligatory title rematches. "I’m going to attempt to convince Stephanie [McMahon] to get me a rematch against Bobby Lashley for the IC Title."

What has already been teased by WWE, whether intentional or not, is that Balor might well be reapplying his demon body paint for the biggest show of the year. Promotional material for WrestleMania features Balor as The Demon King. While we'd love to see that side of Balor go up against almost anyone, just imagine the feeling in that stadium if it does end up being The Demon King versus The Undertaker in three weeks time. We're getting chills just thinking about it.
