A couple of the characters from Firefly Funhouse made sneaky cameos on Raw, and even sneakier cameos on SmackDown Live.
Last week, it would seem that the Firefly Funhouse vignettes came to an end. At the very end of the segment, while wearing his incredibly creepy clown mask, Bray Wyatt flickered and then disappeared from his safe space. Judging by what we saw on Raw this week, The Eater Of Worlds brought all the occupants of the Funhouse along with him.
Two of those occupants made cameo appearances on Raw this week. However, if you blinked, you will have missed them. In fact, even if you were intently staring at the screen you might have missed them. Abby the Witch peered out from behind a wall as The Miz was walking down a corridor, and Mercy the Buzzard was eerily watching on as Kofi Kingston shoved pancakes down his pants.
Following those appearances, we had our eyes peeled to see if more of the Funhouse characters popped up on SmackDown Live. However, it still took us two viewings to find them. The first cameo came from Huskus the Pig. As Daniel Bryan and Rowan made their way to the ring, Huskus could be seen over Bryan's shoulder, peering over a stack of crates.
The fourth Funhouse puppet to make their live TV debut was Ramblin' Rabbit. Later in the show, while Carmella was arguing with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville backstage, the rabbit could be seen relaxing in the background. Clearly, the Firefly Funhouse has some sort of magical healing power as we have technically seen Ramblin' Rabbit meet his demise twice already.
We thought once the Firefly Funhouse vignettes ended, WWE would struggle to keep fans' interest in the angle. We are happy to have been proven wrong so far. WWE has managed to remove the characters from the Funhouse and keep them interesting. What's next? Well, we have no idea. We're assuming we'll see Wyatt in some form or fashion at Extreme Rules. However, we also wouldn't be surprised if this is somehow drawn out all the way to SummerSlam.
