Ex-WWE superstar Terri Runnels was arrested at the Tampa International Airport on Wednesday after she was found to be in possession of a concealed weapon.

That is according to TMZ, who's reporting that Runnels was carrying a loaded Glock 9mm handgun with 11 rounds of ammunition. The publication has also obtained a photo of said weapon and, per the image, it can be seen that all of the rounds are hollow points, which make them more lethal than regular bullets.

It is claimed that the 52-year-old is facing a Class 3 felony which is punishable by up to five years in prison and up to $5,000 in fines. She has since been taken to jail, with bond set at $2,000.

Runnels appeared under the name Alexandra York for WCW from 1990-1991 and made her WWE debut as Marlena in 1996 as Goldust's manager. She was his wife in real life, with their marriage lasting six years.

She remained with WWE until 2004 while Dustin Rhodes left the promotion this year and has since made a first appearance outside WWE with his Double or Nothing bout against younger brother Cody Rhodes on Saturday night.

Runnels, who kept the name after Marlena was done, served as a manager, wrestler, backstage interviewer and television host for the company; she was even named Harcore Champion one time.

The offense for which she was arrested on Wednesday is quite a serious one and it will be interesting to see how this plays out. It's possible that no jail time will be served following her hearing but we will bring you more as the story develops.
