FTR, formerly known as The Revival in WWE, made their AEW debuts on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.

Appearing in the opening segment of the show, FTR drove to the ring to interrupt an attack by The Butcher and The Blade on The Young Bucks after the Bucks picked up an opening win with Matt Hardy over Joey Janela and Private Party. As the team entered the ring, they went straight for Matt and Nick Jackson, making it seem like they were going to go after their long-time social media rivals, only to turn on Butcher and Blade and send them out of the ring.

When they'd dispatched of the attackers, they turned their focus towards the Young Bucks and stood face-to-face, the announcers saying this was the type of tag match anyone would love to see.

The program then cut to a commercial break as Nick and Matt went to shake the hands of the team, only to see Cash Wheeler and Dax Hardwood turn their backs and walk out the ring in what appeared to be a showing of disrespect.

There were plenty of rumors FTR would be joining AEW, speculation that started the second they were let out of their WWE contracts. So, while not a surprise to see them finally in AEW, fans are still likely a little shocked.

AEW Going With Bucks vs. FTR

FTR has a history with The Young Bucks, going all the way back to when the team was in WWE and The Young Bucks seemed to take exception to the idea that The Revival was arguably the best tag team in professional wrestling. FTR said they didn't know why there was heat, but it appears AEW is going to capitalize on the build-up that already exists between the two teams.

Oh, and they already have merch.
