The OC left Raw draped in gold this week following Gallows & Anderson's Tag Team Championship win.

There have been rumors for months that WWE is currently in the business of giving wantaway Superstars anything they want, to an extent. The Revival were rumored to be leaving for AEW, and they became Raw Tag Team Champions. Mike and Maria Kanellis were teasing they'd leave at the end of their contracts, now they're featured on Raw every single week.

Gallows & Anderson were also rumored to be considering taking their talent elsewhere once their current contracts came to an end. That might have involved a jump to AEW, or perhaps a return to New Japan. We certainly don't think it's a coincidence that the pair of them have been reunited with AJ Styles. Plus, the three of them have been featured prominently on Raw every week for the past month or more.

RUMOR: WWE Has A Weird Plan In Place To Resurrect Raw's Ratings

If you're still on the fence as to whether WWE is trying to make good with Gallows & Anderson, it's time to hop off. On Raw this week, two-thirds of The OC became the Raw Tag Team Champions. Gallows & Anderson competed in a triple threat tag team match along with The Usos and now-former champions, The Revival. The pair used the Magic Killer on an Uso to win the match.

As mentioned, that means Dash and Dawson's reign has come to an end. Ironically, it has also been rumored that The Revival was initially given the titles for the same reason we're assuming Gallows & Anderson have been awarded them. Don't get us wrong, we are big fans of both teams and they undoubtedly deserve to hold the championships. The timing of WWE's decision to do so is just a little suspect.

Going into the match, we were half expecting that The Usos were going to become seven-time Tag Team Champions. Earlier this year, the twins won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles just days after Jimmy ran into trouble with the law. Jimmy was arrested yet again last week, so we thought we might see an ugly pattern emerge. Thankfully not, and now all three members of The OC have championships to defend.
