Bill Goldberg was recently included in the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame and is fairly fresh off his recent run with WWE that culminated at WrestleMania 33. While there's been no real talk of Golberg returning to WWE, there have been background murmurs that he may be willing to come back and WWE recently teased the idea of a Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman match at WrestleMania 35.

WrestleMania 35 might be possible, but anything soon surely isn't as Goldberg revealed he is dealing with two very serious injuries that would not allow him to return to wrestling in the immediate future.

Goldberg responded to some fun creative ideas with WWE employee and part-time announcer Booker T on Twitter that he's currently suffering from two torn rotator cuffs. This tweet came after a series of back and forth tweets where Booker challenged Goldberg to a potential match at the Greatest Royal Rumble. There is no indication as to when and how these injuries occurred but neither are small deals, both of which would require some rehab time.

Booker T has his own podcast called "Heated Conversations" and in a recent edition of the show discussed how he and Goldberg talked about still being in wrestling shape when they last saw each other. Both tossed the idea of meeting up down the line, potentially at WrestleMania 35.

Booker T then went to social media to have a little fun with Goldberg and jokingly challenging the former Universal Champion to a pull-up contest and a pose-down. Goldberg declined the pull-ups due to his injuries but joked that he'd be willing to go couple rounds in a pose-down.

Goldberg was in excellent shape for his return but he discussed publicly how much work it was to get back into shape after being away for some many years. He wasn't a fan of the hard work and would likely need more incentive than bragging rights over Booker T to go through that rigorous a routine again.

Whether Goldberg does so for a match at WrestleMania 35 remains to be seen but it likely wouldn't be against Booker T but an opponent with a bit more drawing power.
