Matt Hardy reveals that he and his brother Jeff will clear up the rumors surrounding the latter's apparent injury on SmackDown Live.

Every time you think The Hardy Boyz are winding down, they come back with a vengeance. During their absence from WWE, it seemed as if we would never see them under the employ of Vince McMahon ever again Low and behold, at WrestleMania 33, Matt and Jeff returned to one of the loudest reactions in the show's history.

Towards the back end of 2018, Matt then disappeared from WWE television. The veteran shared a heartfelt video during which he hinted at the fact that he was done competing in the ring. Yet here we are, six months later, and The Hardy Boyz are SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Plus, Matt looks to be in the best shape he has been in for years.

However, something appears to be not quite right. It has been three weeks since The Hardy Boyz defeated The Usos for the Tag Team Titles and they've not competed since. The rumored reason for that is Jeff is suffering from a knee injury. One so severe that there has also been talk of him having to undergo surgery later this week. Matt has taken to Twitter to address those rumors.

Matt posted a short video during Raw revealing that he and Jeff will address the rumors tonight on SmackDown Live. That Matt has acknowledged that talk at all suggests that there is something to talk about. What that unfortunately means is the decorated brothers might well have to relinquish their newly won gold. Either that or Matt will be forced to find himself a new partner to defend the titles with.

Who knows? If Matt is forced to find a new partner, perhaps he could reunite with Bray Wyatt. We already regret putting that out into the universe as it is not something we want to see. We are thoroughly enjoying whatever is going on with Wyatt's Firefly Fun House. Fingers crossed the rumors aren't true and The Hardy Boyz announcement will be regarding something else.
