The WWE Superstars that currently call Raw home probably couldn't wait for their show to begin on Monday night. Team Red thoroughly embarrassed SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, defeating them in all six of the main card matches in which the brands went head to head. The feeling in the blue brand locker room was likely a little more somber on Tuesday. However, as demonstrated in the Takeaways below, not everyone on SmackDown Live was embarrassed by what went down at Survivor Series.

The Iiconics Need A Payrise

Charlotte Flair's bragging in regard to what she did to Ronda Rousey was cut short by Paige on SmackDown Live. Since the GM bleeds blue, she was still pretty pleased with what The Queen did. However, Paige also had to punish Flair for putting her hands on five officials amid the melee. Her punishment came in the form of a $100,000 fine. Flair seemed peeved by the punishment, but not all that bothered. Before she had a chance to react, The Iiconics quickly came to the ring to suggest Paige give the money directly to them. A weird request, and not one we foresee being honored.

Disliking Tag Team Wrestling Runs In The Family

The Miz and Shane McMahon lasted longer than any other Superstars on SmackDown Live in the men's elimination match on Sunday. That clearly got Miz to thinking. On an edition of Miz TV this week, The Awesome One floated an idea past his guest, Shane O Mac. That the two of them join forces and have a crack at being a part of the tag team division. Miz being a singles star for a number of years now, he has obviously forgotten how much McMahons dislike tag team wrestling. Maybe he thought that feeling was only reserved to Vince. Turns out his son Shane has very little interest in it too.

Unfortunately, if a WWE shows falls even remotely close to a holiday, we're going to get a terrible gimmick match. Since it's Thanksgiving this week, we had ourselves the first ever Thanksgiving feast fight between New Day and The Bar and Big Show. The rules were not explained, but they quickly became clear. There were tables around the ring covered in Thanksgiving food. It seems that anything on those tables could legally be used as a weapon, and the tables themselves for that matter. Two Superstars went through food-laden tables, and Big E finished off Sheamus by hitting him over the head with a turkey.

Heel Bryan Refers To Himself In The Third Person

via wwe.com

Fans have desperately wanted to hear from Daniel Bryan ever since he used heel tactics to win the WWE Title last week. His incredible match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series only had us wanting to hear from him more. Had you told us WWE was planning on turning Bryan heel before last Tuesday, most would have labeled you insane. Turns out, the new WWE Champion is an incredible heel. He's great at everything else, so why wouldn't he be? During his charged promo on SmackDown Live, he referred to himself in the third person the entire time. That's because the man he was before he won the championship apparently no longer exists.

Nothing Has Changed

As we already mentioned, and many of you likely witnessed, SmackDown Live suffered an embarrassing 6-0 sweep at the hands of Raw at Survivor Series. On Sunday night, Shane McMahon tweeted that things were going to change off the back of that show. That led us to expect something big to go down on Tuesday night. For the commissioner to fire some stars, maybe make some signings. We got none of that. In fact, McMahon didn't even address the sweep at all. Randy Orton versus Rey Mysterio closed out the show, which was fine, but it's almost as if Survivor Series never even happened. Maybe that's for the best when it comes to the blue brand.
