It was officially announced on Monday’s Raw that Steve Austin will return next week to act as a moderator for the Rollins and Strowman contract signing.

To kick off this week’s Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman day in the middle of the ring and talked about how they’d be able to act both as tag team partners and face each other for the Universal Championship at Clash of Champions. Both signed the contract to make the match official only to have The O.C. come down to the ring, rip up the contract and cause a melee, eventually ending in a beat down of Rollins and Strowman by The O.C., Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.

Knowing it was going to take a special person, and someone more capable than Michael Cole,  to navigate the actual contact signing, Stone Cold Steve Austin tweeted that his idea would be to show up at Raw next week to take on the role of moderator.

Raw will take place from Madison Square Gardens next week and there was already a report Austin was coming to the show to help with ticket sales. His role was unclear. It’s much clearer now.

What This Means

Will Austin be able to maintain order as the WWE tries to official make the main event for Clash of Champions? One can only hope as the pay-per-view is set to take place the following week.

Fans are probably also looking forward to a few stunners go anyone who tries to interfere and stop the signing from taking place.

Also scheduled for that week’s Raw will be the finals of the Raw King of the Ring tournament. Will Baron Corbin or Ricochet move on to the finals and have a chance be the winner of the King of the Ring?
