Hulk Hogan made an appearance at this week's Monday Night Raw reunion special, giving the WWE Hall of Famer another chance to get another look at some of the company's top young stars.

After Raw, Hogan was interviewed by ESPN.com (transcriptions h/t Ringside News), and asked which superstars he thinks will break out next. The Hulkster brought up a few well-established veterans plus some young talents that are on the verge of breaking through.

Hogan mentioned Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles and Ricochet - claiming the latter is "making an impression on everyone." Hogan said that he is "betting on Kevin Owens, he's my boy." Hogan also praised Charlotte Flair for "setting the bar so high," and that she's "blown the roof of the place."

Finally, Hogan said John Cena is his "favorite wrestler," but since he's doing a lot of movies, The Hulkster "is disappointed" that Cena can't be placed in the world championship picture.

Overall, it's difficult to argue against Hogan's breakout choices. Styles was the face of SmackDown Live for two years, having won a pair of WWE Championships and a trio of United States titles. Now, Styles is in the midst of a big heel run alongside Gallows and Anderson.

After starring in NXT, Richochet made the WWE main roster in February, and he's completely dazzled with phenomenal in-ring skills. Ricochet endured a United States Championship run before losing the title to Styles at Extreme Rules.

McIntyre is in the midst of a big main event push, but so far, he hasn't gotten his big break. It's well-known that Vince McMahon is high on the Scottish Psychopath, so McIntyre could really break out at any moment. As for Owens, he recently started a big babyface run, where he's been clashing with Shane McMahon and company. It may not be long until Owens emerges as the true face of SmackDown Live.

What This Means

While Styles has already broken through, McIntyre and Owens are just about to hit their respective peaks. But Ricochet is somebody to keep an eye on, because he has all the tools to be a true main eventer down the road. He's only getting started, and it could take some time, but the former United States Champion seems like a good breakout candidate in the near future.
