Zlatan Ibrahimovic has apologized to Manchester United fans for not coming to the Premier League sooner when he was "a different lion."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most charismatic men in soccer. He has been known to say some quite outlandish things, most of which involve him boasting about his own abilities, but most of the time he has backed up those comments on the field. The Swede has won silverware everywhere that he has been during his career and has scored a boatload of goals to boot, notching up an incredible 433 so far in his career.

Ibrahimovic currently plays his soccer in the MLS for LA Galaxy, where he has already scored twelve goals in fifteen games, but before that plied his trade with Manchester United. Many doubted that Ibrahimovic would be able to cut it in the Premier League since he had never played in the league before and didn't move to Old Trafford until the age of 34.

The Swedish international quickly proved his doubters wrong, however, and was United's top scorer in his first season with the club. His second and last season in England was cut short due to injury though, and Ibra recently publicly apologized to United fans for not signing with the club earlier on in his career so that he could have given them more.

"I feel sorry for the fans - if they'd seen me younger, they'd have seen a different lion," Ibrahimovic explained to the fans. He also threw out a retroactive threat to all the other teams in the Premier League in a way that only he could by saying, "for the Premier League, it would have been dangerous, as I would have eaten them for breakfast; instead, I took them for lunch."

While a move to LA Galaxy likely means that Ibrahimovic's career is starting to wind down, there aren't many in the game that have achieved more than he has. The player has moved around a lot during his career but only so he could dominate as many leagues as he possibly could. The proven goalscorer has won league titles in four different countries and who knows, he may even make that five while playing for LA Galaxy.
