IMPACT Wrestling star Kylie Rae reportedly inked a deal with the National Wrestling Alliance prior to her surprise debut on NWA's When Our Shadows Fall event on Sunday, June 6.

PWInsider reports that IMPACT Wrestling and the NWA hashed out an arrangement that would allow Rae to part ways with IMPACT and sign a contract with Billy Corgan's NWA.

In case you missed it, Rae was Taryn Terell’s mystery tag team partner at the NWA show last Sunday. Terell and Rae defeated Thunder Rosa and Melina after Rosa and Terrell after Raepinned Melina with a roll-up and used Melina's tights as leverage to secure the win. After the bell, Rae looked remorseful for cheating.

It's been a rocky couple of years for Kylie Rae, who famously parted ways with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 under mysterious circumstances just a few weeks after officially signing with the company.

Rae participated in a four-way match at 2019's Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas and it seemed as though the company was gearing up to make her one of the top stars of their women's division. Shortly after, however, she deactivated her social media accounts and canceled all of her upcoming bookings. AEW president Tony Khan later confirmed that Rae had been released.

Rae returned to the ring in September of 2019 and made an appearance the following month at Impact Wrestling's Bound For Glory pay-per-view. She signed with Impact in March 2020 and was set to defeat Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship at this year’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, but she failed to appear at the event.

Not long after that, Rae announced that she would be stepping away from the business for a second time and that she was no longer a professional wrestler.

Born Brianna Rae Sparrey, the 28-year-old is a former stuntwoman who worked on films like Divergent and TV shows such as Shameless. She made her professional wrestling debut on March 19, 2016, at Reality of Wrestling, defeating Ivory Robin to win the ROW Diamonds Championship.
