Being embarrassed for a third consecutive week - this time a 20-7 home loss to the Houston Texans - is hardly the biggest concern for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their fans right now.

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, there was "lots of yelling" in the Jaguars locker room, and Calais Campbell had to hold back teammate Yannick Ngakoue as things reached a boiling point.

James Palmer of NFL Network added this tidbit, which gives more insight as to how big the tension was in the Jaguar locker room.

After ugly blowout road losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys, the Jaguars returned home with a chance to beat the Texans and reclaim the top spot in the AFC South division. Instead, they put up another stinker, and this game saw slumping quarterback Blake Bortles get pulled in favor Cody Kessler.

The Jaguars looked like the team to beat in the AFC after a 31-20 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 2. However, the team has fallen apart and has now lost three of its last four games. The AFC's best defense from a year ago hasn't been able to do much of anything, and Bortles' struggles have many calling for the team to consider a change at the position.

Jacksonville entered the season as a favorite to win the AFC, and they played like one through the first quarter of 2018. Nobody could have expected such a quick downward spiral at this point, given how dominant this defense was just a year ago.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday that Jacksonville has no plans to trade for a quarterback that could challenge Bortles for the starting job. That means the solution on offense must come from within, otherwise the Jaguars will be headed for one big-time letdown of a season.
