It has not been a good week for Jaxson Ryker as the WWE Superstar has been criticized for posts he made recently, and ones he made a year ago.

Every time we think 2020 is going to ease off a little, it hits the world with another body blow. Just as countries were loosening up their lockdowns as the COVID-19 outbreak appeared to be on the downward slope, the killing of George Floyd has sparked mass protests and riots the world over in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The world has been coming out in support of the movement as demonstrations continue, and that includes multiple WWE Superstars and various others from the wrestling business. However, Jaxson Ryker sparked controversy among fans and his own peers earlier this week via a tweet in support of the POTUS.

Signing off with The Forgotten Sons', the faction he is a part of, catchphrase certainly didn't help matters. As is often the case when something like this happens, fans went digging for what Ryker has said on social media in the past. Turns out they did not have to dig very deep to find something relevant. A post from Ryker's personal account, on which he uses his non-wrestling name, brought to light by Ringside News.

The post is far more jarring and overt than Ryker's comments this week. In it, he labels the Black Lives Matter movement "garbage". He also challenges "anyone of any color or race" to watch the movie 12 Years A Slave in a hope they might realize "how good [they] all actually have it." Not a good look, and judging by Kevin Owens' reply to Ryker's more recent tweet, should The Prizefighter get wind of this, he might well confront Ryker in person.

Ryker hasn't been on the main roster for very long, only recently getting the call-up from NXT alongside the other two members of The Forgotten Sons. Although we wouldn't have thought his comments would get him fired, there's a very real chance we won't see him on TV for a while. Then again, since there are no fans in attendance to react to him in real-time, perhaps WWE won't react to his recent and past comments at all.
