Jim Ross commented on The Undertaker accepting outside bookings from WWE and said this is not a sign Taker will wrestle for anyone but Vince McMahon.

During an interview with The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, Ross said this was simply something WWE is allowing more of these days so that superstars who don't have a lot going on in the company can continue to make good money.

Ross also said, this isn't exactly new for The Undertaker. "He's done many Comic Cons in the past and WWE has booked him at like World Of Wheels or some of those type things, he's done those and I'm sure he'll do more of them." Ross added that this is an ideal situation for Taker who has young kids and doesn't want to be on the road all the time.

Ross said, "... to me it's just a third party booking. He's still under contract to WWE and I'm sure WWE gave him the blessing to go make a payday."

Ross used himself as an example for how this sort of thing works with WWE. He explained, "When I had and was working on (NJPW) I had a contract with WWE and at the same time I was working for AXS TV. Now figure that out?" Ross explained this was a change in philosophy by WWE and they were easing up on certain rules for their performers. He mentioned someone like Jerry Lawler also being there.

What This Means

Ross explained that while The Undertaker appearing at Starrcast or taking independent bookings outside WWE, he's still under contract with WWE and needs their blessing to go and do these events.

He added that he doesn't see things changing with The Undertaker at this should be a sign he's branching out or he's going to start wrestling because, as Ross said, "he's not going to wrestle anywhere else I can guaranf*ckingtee you that."
