Ronda Rousey's first match in WWE took place at WrestleMania 34 inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, where she and Raw GM Kurt Angle defeated Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag match.

Rousey entered the match with sky-high expectations, and fans expected her to put on a performance as entertaining and dominant as the woman we saw in the UFC. She did not disappoint, completely squashing Stephanie while landing quite a few jabs at The Game himself.

Many fans and critics offered major praise for Rousey, who showed that she has everything it takes to be a major star in the WWE. Now, you can add legendary commentator Jim Ross among to the list of major wrestling figures who were impressed with Rousey.

"I thought Ronda Rousey's debut was the most impressive thing I've seen in pro wrestling in my 40-year career ... best debut I ever saw," he said to TMZ Sports.

Rousey joining the WWE seemed inevitable when she made an appearance alongside The Rock at WrestleMania 31, but that was in the midst of her prime years in UFC. Following a pair of losses, she left the octagon and finally joined the squared circle, which has always been one of her dream's.

Rousey is one of the most marketed and gifted athletes in the world, but she admitted many times that there were doubts about succeeding in the WWE. Furthermore, she was worried the fans wouldn't give her the warmest of receptions, but that obviously hasn't been a problem. She gets some of the loudest crowd reactions among all of the WWE superstars.

Good ol' JR has seen a bunch of historic debuts and WrestleMania moments, but he was impressed most by Rousey's. That should give her even more confidence as she continues to build up an impressive wrestling resume.
