As the Baltimore Ravens prepare for a crucial divisional game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Flacco's status remains unknown.

On Monday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh noted that Flacco will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game since he’s still receiving treatment for his hip injury and that he doesn’t know yet who will or could be the 33-year-old veteran's replacement.

"I don’t know who’s going to play," Harbaugh said. "We’ll prepare all the [quarterbacks] to whatever degree we think we need to, in terms of what the plan is."

"That’s right," Harbaugh replied when asked if Flacco will be a game-time decision. "We’ll see."

Flacco hurt his hip starting Ravens’ last game against Pittsburgh, getting hit from behind by Steelers’ lineman Stephon Tuitt. Flacco still finished the game and didn’t miss any plays. It was until the course of last week that reports surfaced regarding the severity of the injury.

However, coach Harbaugh pointed out that even if the XLVII Super Bowl MVP didn’t train, he will still be available for Sunday’s game.

“He's rehabbing to play,” he said. “Joe does not have to practice to play. He's practiced the whole season. He's practiced for 11 years. But he might practice. So, we'll just have to see how it goes, and it's up in the air. We're not worried about it. We were blessed with a good quarterback room. That's a good thing. That's a positive thing. I'm really happy about that. We've got guys that can play — three guys that can play.”

Baltimore has one of the most talented signal-callers room in league with first-round pick Lamar Jackson and 2012 Offensive Rookie Of the Year Robert Griffin III. The rookie quarterback has played in every game this season - although rarely in the traditional role of a QB, whereas last time RGIII saw action was in the preseason. Harbaugh added that the starting quarterback uncertainty will work in his favor.

"It makes it tougher for the Bengals to prepare," Harbaugh said. "That’s a good thing."

With a 4-5 record and only one game out of No. 6 playoff spot in the AFC, Sunday’s match it’s a must-win for the Ravens if they want to continue in the hunt for the playoffs.
