Former WWE Superstar and current Ring Of Honor producer Joey Mercury was arrested in Schaumburg on Saturday where he had traveled prior to All In.

No matter which way you slice it, Saturday night's All In was a big hit. The show went off without a hitch and not only has it hopefully set a precedent for other big indie shows to follow in its footsteps, but it also left us with a few moments that will live long in the memory. Chris Jericho's attack on Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes winning the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title just to name two.

There is one man who was supposed to be at the event who ended up not being able to attend, however. That man is Joey Mercury. The former WWE Superstar and current Ring Of Honor employee was supposed to be a producer for the show and was hired to be at gorilla position and help put together the Over The Budget battle royal.

Mercury wound up not being able to attend All In on Saturday night due to the fact that he had been arrested earlier that day, as first reported by PWInsider. Police responded to reports of Mercury sleeping in his car outside of the Marriott Schaumburg. Upon finding Mercury, officers naturally ran his personal details only to discover that he has an outstanding warrant in Orange County, Florida, hence the wrestler's arrest.

Even though Mercury has no charges against him in the state of Illinois, he is currently being held at the Cook County Department of Corrections with a $2500 bail while he awaits his court date which will take place on Tuesday. The expected verdict will be that Mercury is extradited back to Florida where he will presumably answer to the charges he faces in the state.

All In obviously went off without a hitch despite the Mercury speed bump as others reportedly stepped in at the last moment to take his place. As for Mercury's fate and what the outstanding warrant in Florida is all about, as it stands that is anyone's guess. We will likely know more as the week goes on and the story progresses.
