John Cena and The Rock have had a fantastic rivalry for quite some time now. Although they did their three WrestleMania show collisions, it’s still going on beyond the world of WWE, and it’s now taking place mainly on the set of Jimmy Kimmel. Rocky appeared on the show on Tuesday, and had this to say to Kimmel; “Listen, DJ always wants to remind you that if he ever acts up, I will knock his teeth so far down his throat that he’ll stick a toothbrush up his a** to brush it.” Naturally, Cena didn’t take that one lying down, and he responded a night later on the same show with this epic monologue.
It’s a fantastic response from Cena, and it looks like these two are set to continue their rivalry, as there has been hints that the two could combine for a movie in the near future, whether it be adding John into the existing ‘Fast and Furious’ series, or whether it be a new one entirely, but we are certain that it would be fantastic.
Johnson has opened up about their rivalry on Kimmel as of late, and he spoke about it being more than just a professional, on-screen rivalry with some genuine animosity behind the scenes, but notes that they are now great friends. Either way, John Cena’s new comedy Blockers is in theaters now, and if seeing John Cena counteract The Rock while talking about ‘butt-chugging’ beers in the upcoming film doesn’t get you excited for it, well, quite frankly, it’s probably not the movie for you.
