John Cena has enjoyed countless records, milestones and accomplishments throughout his illustrious wrestling career.

But one incredible and impressive streak is set to end, barring an appearance on tomorrow's episode of Monday Night Raw - the last of 2020.

As noted by Ringside News, it looks like 2020 will mark the first year where Cena didn't appear on a single episode of Raw since 2004. The 16-time World Champion was part of the SmackDown brand that year.

Cena was drafted to the Raw roster in 2005, and he would spend the better part of the next decade as the show's top superstar. Even when he transitioned into a part-time wrestling role and towards a busy movie career in Hollywood, Cena still managed to make several Raw appearances.

He showed up on the Feb. 28, 2020 edition of SmackDown Live, accepting a match challenge from "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36. There, Wyatt defeated Cena in a cinematic "Firefly Fun House" match.

Cena's last Raw appearance took place on July 22, 2019. That was the Raw Reunion special, which featured the returns of several wrestling legends and Hall of famers.

Cena has only wrestled three matches dating back to the start of 2019. He, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins teamed up and defeated Dean Ambrose, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a six-person tag match on the Jan. 7, 2019 edition of Raw.

One week later, Cena competed in a fatal-four way match against Balor, McIntyre and Baron Corbin, with the winner facing Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. Balor went on to win that match.

We May Not See Cena For A While

Given Cena's busy career as a movie star, it's impossible to guess when we'll see him on WWE programming again. Perhaps he'll make a surprise return on the Jan. 4 "Legends Night" edition? If not, it could be a while until we see him again. There aren't any hints that WWE may use him for WrestleMania 37, either.
