Despite John Cena claiming a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania is impossible he continues to hint that it will happen.

A couple of weeks ago on Raw John Cena riled up the crowd and most likely everyone watching at home when he decided to call out The Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania. That moment was short lived however as a few seconds later Cena revealed that he had been told by higher-ups that a dream match with The Deadman is impossible and won't be happening.

Since then, the 16 time World Champion has instead been looking elsewhere for a WrestleMania match and has started down a very different road. The free agent returned to SmackDown Live and won his way into the WWE Championship match at this Sunday's Fastlane. If he wins that match not only will he have won more World Titles than Ric Flair, who he is currently tied with for the record, but he will take on Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania.

The likelihood of a Cena win this Sunday is pretty small plus you would imagine with the hints being dropped that a match with The Undertaker is still on the cards. Flaunting it like he did a couple of weeks ago would be pretty low of both Cena and WWE if there are no plans for the match to actually happen. Plus, The Franchise Player dropped another hint this past Monday on Raw that you might have missed.

Following his win over Goldust, Cena scaled the turnbuckle and pointed at the WrestleMania sign, but not like you might expect. As you can see from the photo above, Cena instead reached his hand out like The Undertaker does when striking his signature pose. It was subtle and wouldn't have been noticed by most but it is yet another sign pointing towards the one dream match that Cena is yet to have in his career.

Whatever WWE has planned for Cena at WrestleMania, will likely become a lot clearer in the next few days. If he doesn't manage to capture the WWE Title at Fastlane then he will have to go in search of yet another road, and that could be when The Phenom shows his face. There is the Rey Mysterio rumor too, although the legendary luchador was injured a few days ago.
