Exclusive Interview: Johnny Impact Says Two Impact Stars Are Main Eventers Anywhere In The World

Johnny Impact has a long list of wrestlers he still wants to face in Impact Wrestling, two of which he believes could headline shows anywhere in the world.

It's crazy to think where Impact Wrestling is right now compared to just two years ago. In fact, less than two years ago. For months, the only reason the promotion was being discussed was so that fans and critics could predict when it would cease to exist. Somehow, the company avoided the inevitable. Now, in many ways, Impact Wrestling is positively thriving.

While the company still isn't getting the television ratings that it might like, it does have a number of other important things going for it. Those in charge of the company now have its best interests at heart for starters. Plus, its work with other wrestling promotions has helped it tremendously, including the tenuous link with WWE. However, above all else, its the current roster of talent keeping Impact at the forefront of the wrestling industry.

One extremely talented member of that roster is Johnny Impact. This Sunday at Bound For Glory, Impact will get the chance to become World Champion when he faces Austin Aries. Beyond that, the Survivor star has a long list of other Impact employees he would like to wrestle. "[Brian] Cage, Pentagon, Fenix, OVE, Trevor Lee, Eddie Edwards, Matt Sydal. There’s so many on the roster right now," Impact told The Sportster in an exclusive interview while running down a list of potential opponents.

Two men not mentioned above currently stand out over everyone else to him, though. Funny enough, he may run into the two men in question this Sunday at Bound For Glory. "Killer Kross and Moose individually are main eventers anywhere in the world right now. This roster runs super deep," Impact said of the two men who you will currently find watching Aries' back.

Aries claims that Moose and Killer Kross will be nowhere near the ring for the World Title match this Sunday. Impact knows better than to trust his Bound For Glory opponent, though. Whether Moose and Killer Kross come to the ring or not, winning the World Championship will not be easy for Impact this Sunday. Tune in at 8 pm Eastern time to find out if he can indeed get it done versus the self-proclaimed greatest man who ever lived.
