Chris Jericho did not have a long time to celebrate his win over Kenny Omega thanks to an invading Jon Moxley.

Suffice to say Double Or Nothing definitely delivered on Saturday night. From the Casino Battle Royale at the beginning of the Buy In to the main event between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. Speaking of which, it continues to blow our minds how great a wrestler Y2J still is after all these years.

Not only did he prove that once again at Double Or Nothing, but he went one better than he did the last time he found himself across the ring from Omega. After a grueling battle with his newest nemesis, Jericho used the Judas Effect to keep The Cleaner down for a three count. That means the veteran will take on Hangman Page for the AEW World Title at Fight for the Fallen.

There was one more twist in the tale, though. As Jericho stood in the ring and demanded praise for his accomplishment, the crowd's attention turned to someone making their way through the audience. Jon Moxley. That's right, the man formerly known as Dean Ambrose has signed with AEW after all. The former WWE Champion delivered a Dirty Deeds (can we still call it that?) to Jericho, and then one to the ref for good measure.

It was when Moxley turned his focus to a still-struggling Omega that time seemed to stand still. Judging by what happened next, The Lunatic came to Double Or Nothing for Omega, and Jericho was merely a roadblock. After a spirited fightback from the former IWGP Champion, Moxley proceeded to drag him up the ramp to the oversized stack of chips next to the entrance way. From there, he threw Omega from their lofty position to the floor below.

The closing shot of Double Or Nothing? A crazed Moxley standing high over a decimated Omega. Most of us hoped that Moxley would be in attendance, but after how good the rest of the show was, might have come to terms with Double Or Nothing not necessarily needing him. Adding him at the end in the way that AEW did, however, was the cherry on the cake. What a first night for AEW. Surely Raw has to be better than it has been this Monday, right? Because after that, it feels as if the war may have already begun.
