Since leaving the WWE to sign with AEW, Jon Moxley hasn't been shy in criticizing his former employer.

This time, the AEW World Champion took aim at WWE's new "ThunderDome" concept during an interview with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Karan Bedi of Sportskeeda).

"I really don't want to get into bashing them (WWE) thing, you know, but all the LED boards and (expletive) in their ThunderDome isn't going to fix their problems," Moxley said. "We know what their problem is. I saw a picture of The ThunderDome and it had all the, it was like a Zoom call, with all the faces on the and it tripped me out because it immediately made think of...have you ever read the book, Fahrenheit 451?"

WWE's new ThunderDome debuted on this week's episode of SmackDown Live at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Like the NBA and the NHL, WWE is providing a virtual audience by using a giant screenboard filled with fans.

There has been a massive drop in WWE television ratings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Vince McMahon and company have continued to try different ideas. The hope, of course, is that ThunderDome will enhance the television product and lead to a bounce-back in viewership.

In the interview, Moxley also criticized McMahon, referring to him as "the problem." Not only that, but Moxley believes nothing will change as long as McMahon remains in charge.

"It's one person. Three letters. VKM (Vincent Kennedy McMahon). That's the problem," Moxley said. "Until he's gone or relinquishes control, it's just not gonna change...What would I be doing on that show right now? Can you imagine? You think it would be any good, like come on."

Creative frustrations caused Moxley (who performed as "Dean Ambrose" in WWE) to leave the company that made him a main event star. His final match for WWE took place at The Shield's Final Chapter on Apr. 21. One month later, he debuted for AEW at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

After his unforgettable appearance at Double or Nothing, Moxley ripped the WWE and said he wanted to show "that Vince's way sucks," while suggesting the WWE chairman "listen to someone else's ideas."

Moxley isn't alone here. Other current AEW and former WWE superstars such as Brodie Lee (Luke Harper in WWE) and Matt Hardy have also been vocal about their frustrations with the company.

Don't Expect A Response From Anyone In WWE

Several AEW talents have publicly criticized WWE, but Vince and his superstars haven't returned the trash talk. Moxley had some strong words here, and even though it'd be interesting to see a response from WWE, it's just not going to happen. They'll continue to ignore the competition while continuing to focus on their own product.
